حضراتِ گرامی قدر
محبت کرنے والوں کا ایک شیوہ ہے کہ اپنی تعریف سے زیادہ اپنے محبوب کی تعریف پہ خوش ہوتے ہیں اور جس وقت بات اس کائنات کے محبوبِ اعظمﷺ اور محبِ اعظم یعنی ربِ ذوالجلال کی ہو تو سوچیے اللہ رب العزت کو اپنے محبوب کا ذکر کس قدر عزیز ہوگا۔
حضراتِ گرامی قدر اہل علم کے سامنے ایک بہت بڑا سوال آیا کہ اس کائنات کی سب سے افضل رات کونسی ہے؟
اس کے لیے سب سے پہلے یہ جاننا ضروری ہے کہ اللہ کے نزدیک افضلیت کا درجہ کیا ہے وہ کس چیز کو افضل قرار دیتا ہے؟ تو بلاشبہ اللہ کے نزدیک ہر وہ شے جو اس کے محبوب کریمﷺ سے وابسطہ ہے وہ افضل ہے، جیسا کہ قران مجید میں آیا ہے:-
اس زمانہِ محبوب کی قسم۔ بے شک آدمی خسارے میں ہے
(پارہ 30، صورت العصر، ایت 2،1)
مجھے اس شہر کی قسم
(پارہ 30، صورت البلد، آیت1)
اے محبوب تمہاری جان کی قسم، بے شک وہ اپنے نشے میں بھٹک رہے ہیں۔
(پارہ 14، صورت الحجر، آیت72)
چاشت کی قسم اور رات کی جب پردہ ڈالے
(پارہ 30، صورت والضحٰی، آیت 2،1)
اور رات کی قسم جب چھائے
(پارہ30، صورت الیل، آیت 1)
اس صبح کی قسم اور دس راتوں کی
(پارہ30، صورت الفجر، آیت2،1)
قسم انکی جو دوڑتے ہیں سینوں سے آواز نکلتی ہوئی۔پھر پتھروں سے آگ نکالتے ہیں سُم مار کر۔پھر صبح ہوتے تاراج کرتے ہیں۔پھر اُس وقت غبار اڑاتے ہیں۔ پھر دشمن کے بیچ لشکر میں جاتے ہیں۔

اس بات میں شک کی ذرا بھی کنجائش نہ رہی کہ اللہ کہ نزدیک اہمیت کی حامل وہی شہ ہے جسے سرکارِ دو عالمﷺ سے نسبت و تعلق ہے ۔ چونچہ محدثین فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک رات ایسی ہے جو تمام راتوں سے افضل ہے حتٰی کہ وہ رات لیلتہ القدر سے بھی ، اور وہ رات وجہِ تخلیقِ کائناتﷺ کی ولادت کی رات ہے۔ (سمط النجوم العوالی، الجز 1، صفحہ 305)
امام احمد بن محمد القسطلانیؒ فرماتے ہیں:-
کہ اگر تم سوال کرو کہ شب میلاد افضل ہے یا شبِ قدر؟ تو بلاشبہ شبِ میلاد افضل ہے اور اسکی تین وجوہات ہیں،
1)شبِ میلاد حضورﷺ کہ ظہور کی رات ہے، اور شب قدر حضور کو ایک عطیہ(تحفہ) عطا ہوا، تو عطیہ جس کو عطا ہوا وہ عطیہ سے افضل ہے، سو شب ولادت شبِ قدر سے افضل ہے۔ (یعنی اگر ولادت ہی نہ ہوتی تو عطیہ ملنا بھی محال ہے عطیہ کے لیے ولادت لازم ہے)
2) شبِ قدر ملائکہ (فرشتوں) کے نزول سے مشرف ہے(یعنی اس رات فرشتے اترتے ہیں) اور شبِ ولادت حضور ﷺ کے نزول سے مشرف ہے (یعنی اس رات سرکار ﷺ کی آمد ہوئی ہے) تو حضورﷺ ملائک سے افضل ہیں تو حضور ﷺکی آمد کی رات، ملائک کی آمد کی رات سے افضل ہے۔
3)لیلتہ القدر میں صرف امتِ حبیب ﷺ کو فضیلت ملی، جبکہ شبِ ولادت میںجملہِ موجودات کے ذرہ ذرہ کو شرف ملا کیونکہ حضورﷺ کل کائنات کے لیے رحمت بن کر تشریف لائےتو یہ نعمت جملہِ مخلوقات کے لیےعام ہوئی۔اس معنی سے شبِ میلاد نفع کے اعتبار سےافضل ہوئی۔ (شرحِ الرزاقی علی مواھبِ الدنیا، جلد 1،صحفہ 200)

حضرت امام زرکانیؒ نے شرح مواھب الدنیا جلد 1 صفحہ 132 پہ مزید فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابن حجرؒ نے فرمایا کہ شب ولادت ہی بل شبہ افضل تر ہے لیکن اس سے یہ بات بھی اخذ نہیں کی جا سکتی کہ ہر سال آنے والی شبِ میلاد شبِ قدر سے افضل ہے، ولیکن یہ ابنِ حجرؒ کی ذاتی رائے ہے اور کئی محدثیں انکی رائے کے انکاری بھی ہیں۔

حضرت شیخ عبدالحق محدث دھلوی فرماتے ہیں
پھر جب ہم یہ کہیں کہ ولادت مبارکہ شب کو ہوئی،تو پھر وہ شب شبِ قدر سے افضل ہے، کیونکہ شبِ قدر حضورﷺ کو عطا ہوئی سو حضور کی ذات شبِ قدر سے افضل ہے،دوئم یہ کہ شبِ قدر میں فرشتے نازل ہوتے ہیں اور شبِ میلاد حضورﷺ تشریف لائے،چونکہ حضور ﷺ فرشتوں سے افضل ہیں سو آپ کی آمد کی شب بھی فرشتوں کی آمد کی شب سے افضل ہے، سوئم حضور ﷺ کی آمد تمام جہانوں کے لیے نفع بخش جبکہ شبِ قدر صرف مسلمانوں کے لیے فائدہ مند ہے جیسا کہ ہم جانتے ہیں ابو لہب کی ایک کنیز ثوبیہ نے آپﷺ کو دودھ پلایا اور جب اس کے ابو لہب کو حضورﷺ ولادت کی خبر سنائی تو ابو لہب نے اُسے آذاد کر دیا۔ ابو لہب کے مرنے کے بعد اسے خواب میں دیکھا گیا اور پوچھا کہ ابو لہب کیسا حال ہے؟ تو بولاکہ پیر کی شب مجھ پر عذاب کم کردیا جاتا ہے اور اُس انگلی میں جس سے مٰیں نے ثوبیہ کو آزاد کیا تھا اُس سے دودھ سے زیادہ میٹھا اور پانی سے زیادہ شفاف مادہ پینے کو ملتا ہے۔ امام الجوزیؒ فرماتے ہیں کہ جس کافر کی مذمت قران میں ہے اگر اُسے ثوبیہ کو آزاد کرنے پر ایسا اجر ملا ہے تو نیک نیئتی سے میلاد کرنے والے مسلمان کا اجر کیا ہوگا۔ (ماثبت بالسنۃ، صحفہ59 تا 60،مطبوعہ لاہور)
مولانا عبدالحئی لکھنوی جو اھلحدیث اور غیر مقلدیں کے بہت بڑے عالم ہیں، لکھتے ہیں
شبِ قدر کی فضیلت قران سے ثابت ہے کیونکہ 1) اسی رات فرشتے زمیں پر اترتے ہیں۔2) اسی رات میں شام تا صبح تجلی آسمانِ اول پر ہوتی ہے۔ 3) نزولِ قران مجید اورلوحِ محفوظِ آسمانِ اول میں اسی شب میں ہوا اور احادیث سے بھی اس کی فضلیت ثابت ہے کہ اس شب میں عبادت کا ثواب ہزار مہینوں سے افضل ہے۔ لیکن محدثین نے جو شبِ میلاد کو افضل بتایا وہ عبادت کے اعتبار سے نہیں کیونکہ ثواب کا بیاں توفیقی ہے قیاسی نہیں اور ہمیں اس بارے میں کوئی روایت نہیں ملی کہ اس شب بھی عبادت کا ثواب شبِ قدر جتنا ہے،لیکن شبِ میلاد کی فضیلت شبِ قدر پر ذاتی ہے جو کہ اللہ نے اس رات کو عطا کی جیسا کہ "العقیدۃ الحمزیہ فی احوالِ خیر البریہ" میں ایا ہے کہ "زمانے تیری وجہ سے نازاں ہیں"۔ اس کہ بعد علامہ لکھنوی نت حضرت محدث دہلوی کا قول نقل کیا جو پہلے عرض کر چکا۔

اگر مزید تحقیق کی جائے تو ہزارو علما کہ قول نقل کیے جا سکتے ہیں مگر میں سمجھتا ہوں کی حضرت محدث دھلوی کا قول اہلیسنت و جماعت اور اہلِ دیوبند اور علما لکھنوی کا قول اہلحدیث کے لیے کافی ہے۔ اگر بعد ازاں بھی کوئی با ضد ہے تو اس کا اپنا علمی ذوق ہے۔ میں یہاں آپ تمام حضرات کے لیے ایک سوال چھوڑے جا رہا ہوں۔ سوچیے اللہ کہ نزدیک کونسی رات زیادہ اہم اور فضیلت والی ہے وہ رات جس میں ہم انسان صرف اپنے فائدے لیے جاگتے ہیں یا وہ رات جس میں انسان صرف اور خالصتا اللہ کے محبوبﷺ کے لیے جاگتے ہیں؟؟

In Love, How dear is a tenet of lovers rejoice, He appreciate more beloved by his
definition, and when it comes to the beloved of the universe's true
minister of the Lord of glory think Allah mentioned his beloved Will be.
Scholars have a great question to know what is the best night of the universe? For this, first of all, it is important to know what is the status of the superiority in the sight of Allah? Undoubtedly, The superiors to Allah are all those thing affiliated or attached to his Beloved (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) as in the Quran he says:
(I Swear) by The Era (of Beloved). Surely man is in loss.
( Para 30, the Asr, verse.1,2)
I swear by this city (Of Beloved)
( Para 30, Al Bald , Verse 1)
O beloved (I Swear) by your life, Indeed They were, in the intoxication, wandering blindly.
(Parah 14, Al Hajar, Verse 72)
(I Swear) by the morning Brightness and the Night when it covers with Darkness.
(Para 30, Al Duha, verse 1,2)
By Night when it covers

By the Dawn and the ten nights

By the Racers, Panting and the producers of sparks (when) striking, and the Charges at the dawn, stirring up thereby (Clouds of) Dust, arriving thereby in the center collectively.

There is not the slightest doubt that to Allah Every thing that is in Contact with Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam), is Superior, then any other thing. Hadith scholars said that one night better than all the nights Even though from the Night of Al Qadar, and the night is the night of the birth of Holy Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam). {Simt un Najoom al auwalli, Part1 Page 305).
Imam Ahmed Bin Muhammad Al Qustilani R.A Said
If you asked me that night of Qadar or the night of Mawlid is better? The Night of Mawlid is better and there are three reasons to the night of Mawlid's superiority.
1) Night of The Mawlid is the Night when Holy Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) Born, and The Night of Qadar is gift that is Given to Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam). so The one to Whom The Gift is Given, is Always better and more important then the gift so Prophet's (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) birth night is more important. ( Means, To Receive a gift one Must Born first, so Birth is more important then the gift.
2) In Night of Qadar, The Angels comes towards Earth, and In the Night of Mawlid, The Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) came {Physically} to the Earth, So as Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) is Supreme and Superior from Angels and Prophet's (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) arrival is better than the arrival of Angels, in the same ways the night of arrival of Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) is Better than the night of arrival of Angels.
3) Night of Qadar is only for the Nation of Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) where as Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) is Mercy for whole universe, And his Birth is Mercy of Allah for all the Nations so The night of Mawlid is better in terms of profits for the whole universe.

Imam Zarqani R.A said tha
Hazrat Ibn e Hajar R.A is reported to have said that "Night of mawlid is undoubtedly the Better night from all the nights of Universe, But we can not say that Every year the night of 12th Rabi Ul Awal is Beter than the Night of Al Qadar." However it is his personal Opinion many of the Scholars are not in the favor of his opinon where as some are.

Hazrat Shyakh Abdul Haq Muhaddis Dehlvi R.A said
So when we say that the Holy Birth was in Night, So that Night is Superior than the Night Of Qadar, Because Night of Qadar is a gift to Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) So Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) is More valuable than the Gift. Secondly in the Night of Qadar Angles Arrive where as in The Night of Mawlid Holy Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) arrived so the night of arrival of Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) is Better than the night of arrival of Angels. As Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) is Supreme and Superior than Angels. Thirdly arrival of the Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) is profitable and beneficial for all mankind where as the Night of Qadar is only beneficial to Muslims. For Example, As we Know a slave girl of Abu Lahab, Sobiya Feeded Holy Prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) with her milk and Told Abu Lahab about the birth of his nephew {The prophet (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam)} Abu Lahab in the happiness Freed her, After the death of Abu Lahab, He was seen in a dream and asked how is it? He Said that on Monday night the torment is less on me, and through the finger, by which I Told sobiya that you are free from now, A liquid material, More transparent from drinking water and more sweet than milk, is given to me to drink. Imam Jouzi R.A says if Master of disbelievers who is also condemned and Warned by Quran got a reward of freeing Sobiya on Mawlid Day, what will be the reward of a Muslim celebrating Mawlid in the respected manner.

The Status of The Night of Qadar is Proven in Quran
1) That night the angels descend to earth
2)From the Evening to the Morning Allah Almighty is more Closer to People
3) The revelation of Quran is also completed, and the reward of worship on this night that is said by Allah is better than a thousand months.
But the Superiority of Night of Mawlid told by Scholars is not accordingly its Worshiping rewards, as we don't find any Prove that worshiping on this night has reward more than the worship or thousand months, But this superiority is based on the nights personal value that Allah gave that night. As we saw in "AL AQIDA TUL HAMZIA FIL KHAIR UL BARIAH" is is quoted that "All things are Prodded due to you" or "You are the only Proud of everthig in the world". After writing this Alama Abdul Hayyi R.A Re quotes Words of Hazrat Abdul Haq Muhadis Dehlvi R.A, Mentioned above.

If we conduct Further Research, we can Find Hundred and Thousands of Scholars saying the same thing, The Night of Mawlid is better than the Night of Qadar, But I think that the Saying Of Honorable Imam Qustalani R.A, Imam Zarqani R.A and Imam Al Jouzi R.A, along with Saying of Muhaddis Dehlvi in sufficient to believe For Ahl e Sunnah wa Jamah and The Deoband School of Thoughts where as Verses of Allama Lakhnowi R.A is sufficient to ahl e hadis or Salafi's. If you have any who later insisted on superiority of Night of Qadar over Night of Mawlid, is his own intellectual tastes. I'm going to leave a question for all of you here:-
" Think what virtue is more important to Allah, The night of Qadar in which we worship Allah just for our own Profit/Reward or the Night in Which without any Greed or reward we just purely Remember beloved of Allah (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam) and Recall him (Sall Lallah Hu Alay hy wa All e Hi Wasalam)."
